Construction has officially started! To get the process off to a controlled start, we started with flat block C, consisting of four flats and a penthouse.

We aim to have 1 November to have fully commissioned all eight flat blocks of phase 1. Together with our contractor, we are already making the necessary preparations for this:

• soil samples were taken to apply appropriate soil improvement;

• temporary water and power supplies will be arranged;

• a container will soon be installed and set up as a mobile office;

• the entire site, including the Phase 2 site, has been cleaned up;

• there is a Construction all-risk insurance taken out with Guardian Group, an experienced insurer in Curaçao. This insurance runs from construction start to completion;

• The Hòfi Saint George organisation is currently installing fencing around the project area.

With the steps taken now, Baia Vista is well on track. We confidently look forward to the start of construction of the entire first phase and will of course keep you informed of further progress.
