In 2024, he founded <strong>Lucid<\/strong> with which he focuses entirely on construction supervision and project development in Cura\u00e7ao.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1111\" data-end=\"1256\">With almost 20 years of international experience, Ferdy brings not only technical expertise but also a keen eye for quality and efficiency.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1258\" data-end=\"1602\"><strong data-start=\"1258\" data-end=\"1282\">What will Ferdy do?<\/strong><br data-start=\"1282\" data-end=\"1285\" \/>On our behalf, Ferdy will supervise the construction of the first phase of Baia Vista as project manager and consultant. His role is advisory and controlling: he represents the client and ensures that the construction proceeds according to schedule, budget and agreed quality. Specifically, this includes:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1604\" data-end=\"2622\">\n<li data-start=\"1604\" data-end=\"1734\">\n<p data-start=\"1606\" data-end=\"1734\"><strong data-start=\"1606\" data-end=\"1630\">Supervision &amp; control:<\/strong> weekly presence on the construction site, monitoring planning, identifying risks and deviations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1735\" data-end=\"1884\">\n<p data-start=\"1737\" data-end=\"1884\"><strong data-start=\"1737\" data-end=\"1764\">Quality &amp; execution:<\/strong> monitor compliance with technical agreements and contracts, and advise on construction methods and material choices.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1885\" data-end=\"2018\">\n<p data-start=\"1887\" data-end=\"2018\"><strong data-start=\"1887\" data-end=\"1911\">Financial monitoring:<\/strong> Checking payment requests from the contractor and advising on appropriate times of disbursement.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2019\" data-end=\"2307\">\n<p data-start=\"2021\" data-end=\"2307\"><strong data-start=\"2021\" data-end=\"2038\">Communication:<\/strong> Ferdy reports findings and signals to the developer. To keep lines of communication short and efficient, communication with buyers goes through the development team and not directly through Ferdy. However, he does support joint buyer moments or construction site visits.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2308\" data-end=\"2391\">\n<p data-start=\"2310\" data-end=\"2391\"><strong data-start=\"2310\" data-end=\"2325\">Reporting:<\/strong> periodic reporting of progress, risks and quality.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2392\" data-end=\"2498\">\n<p data-start=\"2394\" data-end=\"2498\"><strong data-start=\"2394\" data-end=\"2415\">Technical advice:<\/strong> reviewing working drawings, additional and less work and deliveries of materials.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2499\" data-end=\"2622\">\n<p data-start=\"2501\" data-end=\"2622\"><strong data-start=\"2501\" data-end=\"2516\">Delivery:<\/strong> Carry out technical preliminary surveys and advise on the preparation of handover to buyers.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2624\" data-end=\"2878\">Through this broad role, Ferdy ensures that, as a developer, we have independent insight into construction progress, quality and costs.
